Top Ten Tuesday: Books to get you into the Halloween Spirit!

Top Ten Tuesday-It is a meme created by aime at The Broke and the Bookish where you create a list of your top ten favorite of any given category. This week we are doing books that will get you into the Halloween spirit! In other words, we are doing spook-tastic books!

1.This book, honestly, ALWAYS pops into my head first, when thinking about Halloween! It was a nice, creepy book. Trust me, it is probably one of the scariest books I have read. It is called...Anna Dressed In Blood(See! Even the name sounds scary!). The cover is JUST gorgeous also!
Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1)
2.The second book I think of is quite the opposite of the the above book. It is about zombies instead of ghosts! Quite a change of topic. Anyways, this book was just another scary book to read, espicially around Halloween! It is called Dearly, Departed. Zombie books are quite interesting also. At least for me, though I have heard people complain how they dislike zombie books because they are stupid and all, but really people it IS called fiction! I also have a disease called covermance for this book!
Dearly, Departed (Gone With the Respiration, #1)
3.Another AMAZING scary book is Masque of the Red Death. It had everything: great plot, perfect pacing, swoonworthy romance, and everything you can think of( at least that are kinda related to the plot).
Masque of the Red Death (Masque of the Red Death, #1)
4.Umm...well the funny thing is, I haven't FINISHED this book yet. Please, do not start yelling at me and throwing objects at my imaginary head! But, it was GREAT, at least the parts that I have read. I plan on reading it soon once...I finish all the books I have started lately, due to the fact that there has been TEN BILLION RELEASES THIS MONTH THAT I HAVE BEEN DYING TO READ THIS WHOLE ENTIRE YEAR! Wow, that felt good to type! Here is the display of the cover. I never felt any covermance for this book really, but it isn't ugly or anything...just kinda boring in my opinion. Not to be mean. I'm sure there are a TON of people who feel covermance towards this book!
Something Strange and Deadly (Something Strange and Deadly, #1)
5.This book is a newly released book that I haven't had the chance to buy yet but, hopefully, I will save up some money to do that soon! It certainly sounds spook-tastic from the description. I will give you a preview of the description:
Velveteen Monroe is dead. At 16, she was kidnapped and murdered by a madman named Bonesaw. But that’s not the problem.
Even the first paragraph of the description has drawn you in! If it hasn't...WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR HEAD? Just joking, please do not take offense!( I'm getting nervous about my sick humor! People might start taking it the wrong way!)
.Velveteen (Velveteen, #1)
6.This is ANOTHER zombie book that I have yet to devour, but will soon enough! Covermance for sure on this one! I love the design of it!
Alice in Zombieland (White Rabbit Chronicles, #1)
7.This book, yet again, is a new release that is on my MUST-READ-NOW-LIST! I've heard some mixed reviews, but I'm still going to give it a shot because I think it still sounds amazing, even if some people hated/disliked. I mean, doesn't everyone hate at least one book that everyone else loves? It could be the opposite. I could love this book and everyone else hates it? Hopefully!

8.This book I actually JUST found! But it sounded perfect for Halloween! I think it may be for middle grade-ish, but still, come on people, who really cares about what age group it is in? Even if...my blog MAY be called All About YA Novels!
The Cavendish Home For Boys and Girls

I honestly can't think of any other scary books. At least at the moment. I'm actually pretty proud of myself for finding THIS many scary books considering that I don't read very many!
SO, chat it up with me or leave me a link! Anything, really...I don't mind random comments( as long as it isn't TOO rude!)

  7. I've only read one book on your list, Alice in Zombieland, but I think that is a great book for today's TTT. Some of the books, though, I do hope to get to soon. I have Ten and Something Strange and Deadly checked out from the library.

    Thanks for sharing :)
